According to the League of American Bicyclists, more than one-half of the American population lives within five miles of their workplace, making cycling a fun, healthy and certainly achievable way of getting to work. Americans are catching on to the world’s enthusiasm for cycling as commuting to work by bicycle across the country increased by 62% from the year 2000 to 2013. Indiana currently ranks 25th in the country for states having the most people commuting daily to work on bicycles.
